Santa Clara River Enhancement and Management Plan (SCREMP)

The SCREMP report (PDF, 30 Mb) was finalized in May 2005. The report provides provides a summary of baseline data from resource reports published in 1996 for water resources, biology, cultural resources, flood control, aggregate resources, and recreation and public access. A series of pdf figures show these resources along the river.  The Santa Clara River Parkway website is making these reports and overlays available to the public on behalf of the California State Coastal Conservancy.

Santa Clara River Feasibility Project

The work begun by the SCREMP is continuing under the Santa Clara River Feasibility Study. The study participants are the US Army Corps of Engineers, the Los Angeles Department of Public Works, and the Ventura County Watershed Protection District.

Santa Clara River Comprehensive Monitoring Plan (CMP)

The CMP report was finalized in March, 2006. The CMP scope of work was to compile a water quality database, assess the water quality data gaps, and propose a sampling scheme and monitoring locations.  The goal of the sampling is to obtain water quality data to establish a baseline condition and allow the stakeholders to analyze water quality trends over time.
